Como ya os habíamos anunciado los días 1 y 2 de octubre estuvimos con nuestras estudiantes holandesas Roos y Marieke en unas Jornadas formativas en León.
La verdad es que resultaron de lo más interesante para todos. Para los chicos y chicas, porque pudieron convivir dos días con personas que están viviendo experiencias similares de adaptación a una nueva cultura y contexto escolar. En los distintos talleres contaron con la experta ayuda de una organización como AFS Intercultura, pionera en la educación intercultural a nivel internacional. Aparte de pasar un buen rato, gracias a las distintas dinámicas de grupo que emplearon, tuvieron ocasión también de compartir inquietudes, anhelos, preocupaciones y, sobre todo, grandes expectativas.
En cuanto a los profes, nada mejor que compartir experiencias y buenas prácticas con otros que ya han recorrido un largo camino en este programa. Hemos venido cargadas de buenas ideas que han funcionado en otros centros y que esperamos poder adaptar a nuestro contexto. También resulta un alivio comprobar cómo todos los centros pasamos por parecidas dificultades y sobre todo cómo pueden ir superándose todas ellas.
Gracias al OAPEE por su cercanía y por facilitarnos tanto las cosas. ¡Un diez para ellos! ¡Y otro para nuestros chicos y chicas MAC!
As we had already announced on October 1st and 2nd we attended the Training Session held in León with our Dutch students Roos and Marieke.
They turned out really interesting for all of us. The students, because for two days they had the chance to live together with other kids experiencing the same kind of things and adapting themselves to a new culture and school context. In the different workshops, they were helped through by an expert, pioneer organisation on intercultural education: AFS Intercultura. Apart from having a good time, thanks to group dynamics they used, they had the chance to share concerns and wishes and, above all, great expectations.
As for teachers, nothing more useful than sharing experiences and good practice with others that have already gone a long way on this programme. We have come back with lots of good ideas that have worked out fine in other schools and that we hope to adapt to our own context. It is also quite relieving to realise how most schools go through the same kind of difficulties and especially how things can be sorted out at the end.
Special thanks to the OAPEE for their closeness and for making things easier to all of us. An A for them and for our students on this Comenius Mobility Programme!!
